Concrete Pastures
Man drives his steel carriages
to another destination in his modern life.
Beginning his journey under one heavenly sun
ending his journey under his electrical stars.
Passing beneath drooping power lines
hanging from man made steel trees.
Observing signs of blue and green
directing him to places he's never been.
Will man ever take a brief exit
from his highway of life
to discover these newfound destinations?
What will man find
when he leaves the security
of his steel carriages and concrete pastures?
